This is a short quick read. Although I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, it was somewhat inspiring. Its a cowboy's journey to coming out in the rodeo world as well as to his family. Flint is in love with his best friend, Dustin. Dustin is constantly trying to get Flint to open up, be himself and come out. Its just not that easy for him to do though. When he finally does come out, things are not all roses but they are certainly better than they were before when he was hiding himself and lying to his parents. In the end I just didn't feel any chemistry between the characters and I don't know for sure but I would think that being gay in a rodeo community would be rather difficult and that participating the "gay rodeo" left some kind of stigma. It was just kinda, meh for me.
