The Dark Huntsman

The Dark Huntsman - Jessica Aspen

I will apologize in advance. I've been slacking. I read this about a month ago and am very, very behind on reviews. This one will be shorter because... well, I'm a slacker and waited way too long to write it.

Anyhow, on with the show.

I have read a few fairy tales done over with a twist, but for the most part they fell flat. They, for some reason, tended to be on the absurd side. But THIS. THIS is amazing. It twisted Snow White's story into something edgy and adult. I didn't want to put it down and I didn't want it to be over.

Always being a fan of fairy tales and now being grown up and a fan of smexiness as well, I was in heaven with this. There are so many little things I really enjoyed about this and how it all ties together so nicely, I just can't put it all into words.

I do believe this book has made me an instant fan of Jessica Aspen and The Tales of the Black Court series.
